If you like ginger this is the cocktail for you. If you don’t like ginger I’d recommend you try the Quick Pick Washington Apple instead. Now that all of the ginger haters are out of the room let’s get down to business and talk about a ginger cinnamon apple bourbon concoction that is going to make your summer nights fizz with delight.
The Bushel & Barrel and Ginger is a simple cocktail made with only 2 ingredients. Because of that the ginger beer or ale you choose is going to be the biggest factor in how the end product tastes.
Bushel & Barrel is a spiced apple bourbon liqueur that’s rather sweet on it’s own so for my tastes I went with a ginger beer which is typically not as sweet as a ginger ale and the ginger packs more of a punch so I ended up with a big spicy cocktail. If you have a sweet tooth you’re probably going to enjoy the ginger ale more.
Though really, either way you go you’re going to end up with a tasty little sweet and spicy cocktail. Enjoy!
